What I personally found really special was the knowledge he shared about the land, nature, and first nations. Just above and beyond kind of work and it really made our day fantastic. We recently had our wedding at Long  Beach Lodge in Tofino BC. Ian’s ability to make us feel comfortable and at ease payed off as our photos are nothing but amazing. Ian is creative, flexible and intuitive. We were so fortunate to have had Ian be a part of our wedding; we have so many favourite photos that captured our magical day. Highly highly recommend! 

It was an absolute joy to have Ian as our photographer. We celebrated our handfasting in Ucluelet and were just so lucky to find him! It was easy to work with Ian; he made himself available to chat with us about our vision, offered great suggestions for our location and helped us create a wonderful, memorable day. We were very touched by his sensitivity and kindness of heart. Not to mention talent! Our photos came out beautifully in less than 10 days (Ian sent us a couple of sneak peaks even earlier), and we were in awe with how he captured everything. We hired Ian to take photographs of my daughters wedding.  He was amazing!  Right from first point of contact through until the pictures were delivered.  He responded right away, and was able to provide pictures that will last a life time.  We had a few extra requests, and he went above and beyond to make the day as special as it could be.  If he mentions taking a first look photo, I strongly recommend doing it.  I had never heard of that, but the picture he was able to capture of my son-in-law and daughter was so special.  Look no further!  Ian will provide you with what you want, and will deliver!  Thanks Ian for being amazing! 

Ian is an excellent photographer. From his patience, attitude throughout the shoot, to the end result: THE PHOTOS.. I was blown away by how positive this experience was. He treated my husband and I like long time friends throughout the day. Even when hiking up the side of a mountain for the perfect shot, he stayed in good spirits and kept my then fiance and I chipper too. His ability to make you comfortable payed off as our photos were nothing but amazing. Ian was flexible, knowledgeable, creative, and intuitive. If you're looking for a photographer for your special day I couldn't recommend him enough! 

We got married in October and a week before our wedding our first photographer had to cancel. Ian was amazing and put all of our worries to bed, with 1 week to go. I am so glad that he was able to capture our day. He was professional, yet fun and made the whole day relaxing and enjoyable. Some of the best memories of our day where taking the photos. For someone that doesn't like their photo being taken, it was one of the funnest memories of my day. The photos we received were beautiful, and my husband & I love them all! As neither of our families were able to join us for our special day, having these photos to show them was really important. Prior to the wedding Ian was at the end of a text message or phone call, and gave us some great tips on how to announce our elopement. His knowledge of the local area, and his ideas were great. He went above and beyond to capture our special memories with very difficult light and rainy weather....November in Ucluelet does not offer easy conditions for a photographer!
